Lucy-May of the Southern Rainbow (南の虹のルーシーMinami no Niji no Rūshī, "Lucy of the Southern Rainbow") is a Japanese anime series by Nippon Animation. This 1982 adaptation is part of the studio's popular World Masterpiece Theater franchise, based on the 1982 novel Southern Rainbow by Australian writer Phyllis Piddington (1910–2001), and tells the story of a young girl named Lucy and the hardships and excitement she and her family encounter when they move from England to Adelaide in Australia to start a farm.

The anime has been dubbed into French, Italian, Arabic, Spanish, German, and Persian, but it didn't release in Australia because most Aussies have never heard of it.

Another adaptation of the story, written by Ken Wakasaki as a tie-in to the anime, was also published in Japan in 1982.

Lady Georgie - English Subtitles (20/45) [1983] [DROPPED]

This a 1980's shoujo anime based off a manga that was written by Mann Izawa and Yumiko Igarashi, who are best known for their writing and illustrative work on the 1970's shoujo anime called Candy Candy. The manga was given an anime adaptation by Tokyo Movie Shinsha (TMS Entertainment) and spanned 45 episodes. For unknown reasons, it reuses some soundtracks from Ashita no Joe 2, another anime also made by TMS.

The series was broadcast on TV Asahi from April 9, 1983 until February 25, 1984.

The story starts in Australia and the main character is a girl by the name of Georgie Buttman, a member of the Buttman family who lives in a farm in Australia.

On February 13, 2022 I released Episode 7 of Lady Georgie. The last 6 Episodes were subbed by another group however it has not been continued in years therefore I decided to continue it. This is a shoujo anime by TMS.  Due to TMS being infamous for having tough copyright restrictions, I will not be uploading any Episode to YouTube, I will instead be uploading it on the Internet Archive.

The anime was dubbed and aired in several parts of the world including Japan, the Philippines, Brazil, Spain, Latin America, China, Taiwan and the Arab World.

Shoukoushi Cedie - English Subtitles (43/43) [1988]

This is another entry in Nippon Animation's World Masterpiece Theater, released in 1988. It is an anime adaptation of an 1886 novel called Little Lord Faunterloy and was written by British novelist Frances Hodson Burnett, who also wrote the novels A Little Princess and The Secret Garden, both of which received anime adaptations by the name of Shoukoujo Sara and Himitsu no Hamazono.

This series was broadcast on the World Masterpiece Theater from January 10, 1988 until December 25, 1988.

The story begins in New York and the main character is a boy by the name of Cedric Errol, more commonly referred to as "Ceddie" in the anime.

On December 14, 2021. I began work subbing Shoukoushi Cedie, a 43 episode anime from 1988. It is a part of the well known World Masterpiece Theather and only 18 episodes were subbed by the LiveEvil fansubbing group. So I went to work and started subbing it, episodes 1-18 were subbed by LiveEvil while I have subbed Episode 19 and onwards.

This anime was dubbed and aired in different parts of the world and several countries, such as Japan, The Philippines, Netherlands, Spain, parts of Latin America, Poland, the Arab world and the United Kingdom.

About: Little Lord Fauntleroy, also known as Little Prince Cedie (小公子セディ, Shōkōshi Sedi), is a Japanese anime series produced by Nippon Animation in 1988 and was broadcast on the World Masterpiece Theater.
It is an animation staple that showcased each year an animated version of a different classical book or story. The series is based on Frances Hodgson Burnett's 1886 book, Little Lord Fauntleroy.

In the Philippines, this work was aired by ABS-CBN in the early 1990s (with some rebroadcasts at the 21st century) under the title of Cedie, Ang Munting Prinsipe, with the spin-offs live-action film of the same title by Star Cinema. The film adaptation of Little Lord Fauntleroy starred former child actor Tom Taus Jr. as the eponymous character.

In the United Kingdom, the series premiered as an English dub which aired on ITV between 1995 and 1998.

Wakakusa no Charlotte - English Subtitles (30/30) [1977]

This is a 1970's shoujo anime made by Nippon Animation. It is set in Canada and France and is about a girl named Charlotte Montburn who lives in a farm with her Dad, friends and farm animals. It is influenced by the novel series "Little House on the Prairie" though it is not a direct adaptation. This is the first ever anime I have translated and fan-subbed.

On September 16, 2021 I started subbing Wakakusa no Charlotte, a 30 episode anime from 1977. I uploaded the first episode a day later on September 17. 2021. This is the first anime I've fansubbed and the first anime which has been subbed by Helena Fansubs. I will usually finish subbing one episode a day and sometimes I may be able to finish subbing more than one episode a day if I have a lot of time.

About:

Wakakusa no Charlotte (若草のシャルロット, lit. the Young Grass of Charlotte) is an anime series produced by Nippon Animation Co. Ltd. It was first aired in Japan between October 29, 1977 and May 27, 1978, and is based on an original story by screenwriter Shun'ichi Yukimuro (as opposed to an existing manga).[1] While this series - Nippon Animation's first to target the shōjo audience, followed by Haikara-san ga Tōru - was taken off the air in Japan early due to mediocre ratings, it is a much-loved and well-known series in some European countries, particularly in Italy. In the Philippines, it was aired by ABS-CBN in 1990s, Yey! in June 2017 and GMA Network in 2000s with some rebroadcasts since then and A2Z Channel, an ABS-CBN blocktime channel in January 18, 2021 every weekdays 4 pm (Philippine Standard Time, GMT+8) replacing Dog of Flanders:My Patrasche. However, it is expected to air its final episode on February 26, 2021.
